Introduction

I founded Pierre Robin Network in May of 1999 because I don't want any other parent to go through these issues alone. My son was born in 1988 and I had no one to turn to who had parented a child with PRS. The medical professionals were great, but they didn't live with a child with PRS. Our biggest presence is on the Internet but we are expanding to reach those without Internet access. We will be publishing a newsletter this year to reach families without Internet access.

Our group has grown tremendously and I am continually amazed at the support that is show to our members. We have members all over the world who are able to communicate with each other via our email discussion group.
